The video frames this as a deliberate swapping of machines and labels it as the “biggest deception against democracy.” Let’s verify the claim made in the post in this article.

Fact: The viral video is doctored. The original video, published on Aaj Tak’s YouTube channel on 14 November 2025, shows Sweta Singh reporting the NDA’s historic victory in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections. Nowhere does she mention duplicate EVMs or preset results. The audio claiming EVM manipulation has been digitally added, and no credible evidence supports the claim. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
To verify the claim, a Google search was conducted using relevant keywords; however, no credible reports or evidence were found suggesting that Aaj Tak anchor Sweta Singh reported the use of duplicate EVMs with preset results or their swapping during counting in the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections.
A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led us to the original video of Sweta Singh, in which she is seen wearing the same attire as in the viral clip. The video was published on Aaj Tak’s YouTube channel on 14 November 2025. In this video, anchor Sweta Singh reports on the 2025 Bihar Assembly election results, highlighting the historic victory of the NDA under the Modi-Nitish Kumar pairing. Nowhere in her report does she mention that duplicate EVMs with preset results were used or swapped during counting, and it is evident that the audio in the viral video has been digitally added.
