A video (here, here, here, here and here) going viral on social media shows a truck involved in an accident, with cash scattered all over the road and people rushing to collect it. It is being claimed that the incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh and that the truck was carrying large amounts of money. Let’s find out the truth behind this video.
Claim: The video shows a money-laden truck meeting with an accident in Uttar Pradesh, spilling cash on the road, with people rushing to collect it.
Fact: The video is AI-generated. The original clip was uploaded by an AI-video creator on Instagram, who clarified that it is not a real incident. Visual inconsistencies and detection tools confirm it is artificial. Further, no news reports support the occurrence of such an accident. Hence the claim is FALSE.
To check whether any such incident actually occurred, we conducted a keyword search on Google, but found no news reports of any similar accident.
To verify the truth, we closely examined the viral video and found several inconsistencies that indicate it is not real. The bike shown on the road is missing essential structural parts, such as the brake area and other body elements, making it look unnatural. Additionally, the auto-rickshaw seen in the video also appears distorted and unrealistic, which are common signs of AI-generated or digitally fabricated visuals.
To trace the origin of the video, we performed a reverse image search on Google, which led us to the original upload on the Instagram handle arshad_arsh_edits on 20 November 2025. In the description of that post, the creator clearly states that the video is not a real incident and was made purely for entertainment. Upon checking the profile, we also found that the bio identifies him as an AI video creator.
To verify whether the video was AI-generated, we also used the Hive AI video detector to check it. The tool flagged the clip as 99.2% likely to be AI-generated. Combined with the creator’s own clarification and other inconsistencies seen in the visuals, all evidence confirms that the viral video is artificially generated and not a real incident.
