A video is being shared on social media claiming it as the visuals of the troubles of Policemen in waterlogged streets in Yogi Adityanath ruled Uttar Pradesh state. This video shows a group of policemen rescuing themselves out from an overturned vehicle in a water-logged street. Let’s verify the claim made in the post.

Claim: Video of UP Police rescuing themselves out from an overturned vehicle in a water-logged street.

Fact: This incident took place at Bandikui town in Dausa district, Rajasthan. An electric rickshaw carrying five Chalani guards to the Kolana jail overturned while travelling in a waterlogged street in Dausa. This video has nothing to do with Uttar Pradesh. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

On reverse image search of the screenshots in the video, a similar video was found in an article published by the ‘Dainik Bhaskar’ news website on 01 October 2021. This article reported it as the visuals of Policemen rescuing themselves out from an overturned vehicle in Dausa, Rajasthan. This incident reportedly took place on 30 September 2021 at Bandikui town in Dausa. According to the article, Bandikui town received heavy rainfall on 30 September 2021. An electric rickshaw carrying five chalani guards to the Kolana jail was reportedly stuck in a pothole while it was travelling in a water-filled road in Bandikui. The five policemen who were travelling inside the e-rickshwa fell into the rainwater immediately after the vehicle got overturned.
