A photo of Narendra Modi’s estranged wife Jashodaben holding a placard with statements against him is making rounds on social media. The placard held by Jashodaben has the text in Hindi and its English translation is – ‘When my husband could not become mine, how will he become yours or other Indians… Is this the empowerment of women? – Jashodaben Modi’. FACTLY has found the photo to be photoshopped. In the original photo, Jashodaben holds an RTI copy that she has filed with Mehsana Police seeking details of the security arrangements that she and other family members of the PM are entitled to as per protocol.
