Claim: The ‘Association for Sunni Muslims’ in Dubai is offering financial support to Muslims who vote for the Congress party in the current elections in India.

Fact: We could not find any information about a Sunni association in Dubai/UAE called the ‘Association for Sunni Muslims’. Additionally, the address listed in the letter corresponds to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai. One of the phone numbers provided in the letter belongs to a coffee machine company in Dubai. This evidence clearly indicates that the letter being circulated is fake. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

Initially, an online search for information regarding the association mentioned in the viral letter did not produce any results indicating the presence of such an association in Dubai/UAE. If such an organization existed and had indeed extended such an offer, it would have garnered wide media coverage. However, we could not find any news reports on this matter.

Additionally, a Google Maps search for the address listed in the viral letter (#2-11th Street Khalid Bin Waleed Road Plot No. Umm Hurair One Dubai United Arab Emirates) revealed that it is the location of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai.

Moreover, one of the three mobile numbers listed in the letter is registered as a business account on WhatsApp and belongs to Dallmayr, a German coffee machine company with a branch in Dubai. Their Instagram account confirms this. These details indicate that the letter being circulated is fake. We have also reached out to the other two numbers via WhatsApp to inquire about the letter.
