A widely circulated video shows a woman advising Hindus to be cautious about another community, accompanied by the assertion that she is a Muslim woman warning Hindus at a Brahmin gathering.  In the video, the woman can be heard referring to the Taliban, Kanhaiya Lal, and Nupur Sharma incidents. In this article, we will verify the claims presented in the post.

Fact: The individual featured in the video is a well-known Hindu Vedic preacher. Multiple news reports have identified her as a Hindu. In response to the viral claims, she denied the allegations as false. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

The individual featured in the viral video did make these remarks warning Hindus; however, it’s important to note that she is not Muslim but a Hindu. A reverse image search of the viral video’s screenshots directed us to a YouTube short video displaying the same visuals. This short video was posted on 26  November 2023, on a YouTube channel named Vidushi Anjali Arya. The channel contains numerous videos showcasing her preachings.

Subsequent searches using pertinent keywords led us to a 2019 news report concerning the woman in question. The article identified her as Anjali Arya, affiliated with the Arya Samaj. The report provided additional details, stating that Anjali’s father is named Dhaniram, her mother is Nirmala Devi, and her grandfather, Om Prakash Arya, used to accompany her to Arya Samaj conferences during her childhood. These particulars indicate her Hindu family background.

Another report that identified the person as a Vedic preacher can be viewed here. As the video gained widespread attention, the media agency Lallantop reached out to her for clarification on the viral claim. In response, she stated that she is not a Muslim and belongs to a Sanatani family.

To sum it up, the individual advising Hindus in this video is not a Muslim, but a popular Vedic preacher.
