To learn more about the viral clip, we performed a reverse image search leading us to the original video uploaded on an Instagram page named @reet.kahlon28( Lakhwinder Kaur). Lakhwinder is the director of Chandigarh-based Hair Garden Salon.
We performed a keyword search on the internet to know if Lakhwinder is the world’s tallest woman, and learned that Rumeysa Gelgi from Turkey is the tallest living woman in the world according to Guinness world records. Her height is 7 ft. 0.7.
If Lakhwinder were the tallest woman in the world, Indian media would have reported on it; at least she would have made a video, as one can find that she is very active on social media (she uploads vlogs on Youtube). Looking at the viral clip, it could be a work of an editor who stretched the video vertically to make her look tall. This difference between the original and the Viral clip is quite noticeable, and you can see this in the following collage.
