A collage with two images is being widely shared on Facebook claiming them to be of a recent incident in Odisha. ‘#आत्मनिर्भर भारत’ (‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’) is mentioned in the post. ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ is a campaign recently launched by the Government of India and under this campaign, an economic stimulus package of Rs 20 lakh crore was announced. FACTLY found the images to be related to an old incident. In 2016, a woman died after she was run over by a goods train near a railway station in the Balasore district of Odisha. The images show Community Health Centre (CHC) workers standing over the dead body of the woman, breaking her bones and wrapping it in a sheet so as to sling it on a bamboo pole as the body has to be taken to the Balasore district hospital for post-mortem. The Government Railway Police (GRP) have said that they have done so as no ambulance was available to transport the body.
