Number of OCI Cards issued from 2005 – 15 Top 10 Embassies

Between 2005 and 2015, more than 19.3 lakh OCI cards were issued by Indian Embassies across the world. Out of these, the top 10 embassies account for more than 71% of the OCI cards issued.

Do these figures include the old PIO cards as well? Additionally, do we have figures on how many OCI’s/ PIO’s were given to spouses of Indian nationals/ OCI’s?
