A quick Google Search with keywords “Israel 5g launch”, results in a “Reuters” article with the title “Israel set to launch long-awaited 5G tender this month”. In the article published on July 2, 2019, it was reported that an Israel government spokesperson has said that their country is likely to launch a long-awaited tender for the fifth generation (5G) mobile networks within two weeks. Israel’s Communications Ministry had said late last year that it hoped to allocate frequencies for 5G technology by the end of 2019 and launch it commercially between 2020 and 2023. The ministry has said that 5G is necessary to develop health, agriculture and education, as well as smart cities and self-driving cars.
To conclude, Israel hasn’t chosen to avoid the launch of 5G technology in its country. It is fake news.
