Fact: The Bollywood singer Caralisa Monterio’s tweet shared in the post is not real, but a morphed one. One can notice that the alignment of this tweet is different to that of a normal tweet posted on Twitter. Caralisa Monterio also clarified that the tweet is fake and also informed that a case has been filed against it. Also, the Aam Aadmi Party’s tweet shared in this post is from December 2016. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
When we searched for this tweet on the official Twitter handle of Bollywood singer Caralisa Monterio, we could not find this tweet on her timeline. On observing carefully, one can notice the alignment of Caralisa Monterio’s tweet shared in the post is different from a normal tweet posted on Twitter. The bar that shows the number of quote tweets and likes is absent on this purported tweet of Caralisa Monterio. Singer Caralisa Monterio usually tweets from her android device. But, there is no mention of her device in this viral tweet.
OpIndia founder Rahul Roshan shared this screenshot in response to Caralisa Monterio’s tweet in which she shared the screenshot of a morphed OpIndia article. This tweet is now unavailable on Twitter. The archived version of Rahul Roshan’s tweet can be seen here.
When a user posted this fake screenshot, Caralisa Monterio responded through a tweet saying ‘Tell your dad WhatsApp University band kar lo. And a case has been filed against this fake tweet.’
Also, the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) tweet shared in the post is an old tweet. AAP posted this tweet on 20 December 2016.
To sum it up, Bollywood singer Caralisa Monterio did not tweet saying that we will soon see a Hindu Mukt India. It is a morphed tweet.
