It Is An Organized Gang Of Goons, Uneducated School Dropouts, Criminals And Brain Washed Morons!!!! Period!!!!’. Let’s try to analyze the authenticity of the claim made in the post.
Claim: Justice Markandey Katju: ‘BJP Isn’t A Political Party! It Is An Organized Gang Of Goons, Uneducated School Dropouts, Criminals And Brain Washed Morons!!!! Period!!!!’.
Fact: Justice Markandey Katju didn’t make those comments about the BJP. When screenshots of tweets from an imposter account of Katju went viral, he clarified that those weren’t from his official Twitter account which is ‘@mkatju’. So, the claim is FALSE.
When searched on Google if Justice Katju has made these comments, information from no credible source was found in the search results. When searched on Facebook, a screenshot of a tweet purportedly made by Justice Katju with the above statements was found. But, when searched for information on Twitter, a tweet by Justice Katju clarifying that Twitter posts making rounds on Facebook and Twitter are from a fake account in his name and his genuine Twitter account is@mkatju.
To sum it up, Markandey Katju didn’t refer to BJP as a gang of goons and criminals. Fake quotes are being attributed to Katju.
