Fact: The post’s photo is captured during Actor Yash’s Tirupati visit before the release of his film KGF-Chapter 2. No news reports validate the claim that he has announced 50 Crores for the construction of Ram Mandir. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
We performed a reverse image search of the posts image on Google reverse image search and were led to a news report published by the Indian Express. The report titled ‘Yash visits Tirupathi ahead of KGF 2 release‘ was published on 12 April 2022. One of the photos in this article is the same as in the viral post. We also found several other news reports on this, which can be read here, here and here.
To check if he has announced any donation for the construction of Ram mandir in Ayodhya, we searched the internet with relevant keywords but could not find any relevant information. Since he is one of the most popular film stars in India, if he makes such an announcement, it should have been covered by the media, which is not the case with this particular claim. Further, we even searched on Actor Yash’s official social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to find out if he had visited Ayodhya, but we could not find any relevant information. With all this evidence, we can conclude that a photo taken during Yash’s Tirupati visit is being used in the post to claim that he visited Ayodhya.
To sum up, KGF star Yash has not visited Ayodhya to announce a donation of 50 Crore for the construction of Ram Mandir.
