Fact: Devi Chitralekha is not mariied to a Muslim; she is married to a Hindu Brahmin named Madhav Tiwari. They got married on 23 May 2023, according to the Hindu customs. Devi herself quashed these rumours that she married a Muslim. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.

This was an image carousel story on Devi Chitralekha. According to this, her husband’s name is Madhav Tiwari, who is a Brahmin hailing from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
A further search led us to the Instagram handle of Madhav(@madhavprabhuji), who posted the same photo as the viral one on 15 July 2024, tagging the Lake District, UK, as the location.
Furthermore, we learned that in the past, when rumours about her husband belonging to the Muslim community went viral, Devi Chitralekha took to Facebook to clarify this.
Posting a few pictures from her wedding (here and here), she said, ‘False rumours are refuted. On 23 May 2017, Devi Chitralekha ji was married to Shri Madhav Tiwari, son of Shri Arun Tiwari ji, in a ‘Kashyap Gotri’ Kanyakubj Brahmin family of Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, as per Hindu customs in the sacred premises of Gauseva Dham Hospital. Please ignore the rumours…!!!’ Madhav Tiwari has posted their wedding pics on Facebook, which you can find here.
