Since yesterday (16th June, 2017), Petrol & Diesel prices are being revised every day at 6am. The revision will be based on the global crude oil price. This change will be applicable for all the retail petrol pumps of the three PSU Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) IOCL, BPCL & HPCL. Together, they account for more than 95% of all the petrol pumps in the country. Since this change is going to affect most people, here is what we should know.

Information on Price Revision

The price of petrol & diesel varies from state to state because of difference in tax rates. It has to be noted that the tax on petrol & diesel has been exempted from GST and we will continue to see these different prices going forward.
