Fact: The original image shows Sariya al-Sawas standing alongside only three children. The image of a boy in thawb is digitally added to the original image. Sariya al-Sawas had clarified that the two girl children in the viral photo are her two daughters, and their father is Syrian, whereas the boy child is her nephew. She further ridiculed the rumour about her multiple marriages. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.

A search on Sariya al-Sawas’s official Facebook page led us to a post, dated 14 December 2019, through which she addressed the viral claim and provided clarification. In this post, she shared the same viral picture, but it shows only three children, suggesting that the fourth child shown in the viral image has been digitally added.
Sharing the picture, she noted that the boy in the picture is her nephew, whereas the two female children are her own daughters, all of them are Syrian citizens. She further ridiculed the rumour of multiple marriages.
As reported by a news agency, Sariya al-Sawas posted an Instagram story, denying the rumors that she married three Arab nationals. Sharing the same viral photo of her with three children, she reiterated that the boy child is her nephew, whereas the two girl children are her daughters, and their father is Syrian.
Earlier in 2018, rumors of Sariya al-Sawas marrying Iraqi MP Talal Al-Zawawi went viral on social media. However, speaking to the media, Talal Al-Zawawi denied the rumors as baseless and categorically stated that he had never met the singer in his life. This implies that rumours surrounding Sariya’s marriage are unfounded.
