Fact: Parkash Kaur passed away in Canada in September 2014, not recently. It was widely reported by several media agencies in 2014 and, some political leaders have also expressed their condolences on her death back then. Hence the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.
When we searched on the internet about the death of Parkash Kaur, a lot of news articles published in September 2014 were found in the search results. Some of those news reports can be read here, here, here and here. According to those articles, she died in Canada in September 2014. So, she did not die recently as mentioned in the post.
Some political leaders like Capt.Amarinder Singh and Ashok Tanwar, have expressed their condolences on her death back in 2014.
The photo in the post and other photo of her was found in several blogs (here, here, and here). However, we could not independently verify if it is Parkash Kaur in these photos. Her interview with Aikam TV was posted in 2012, which can be seen here.
