On 13 June 2025, Israel launched attacks on more than a dozen targets across Iran under the codename Operation Rising Lion, with the stated objective of preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Israel reportedly damaged key nuclear facilities and military installations, killing several of Iran’s top military leaders. In retaliation, Iran launched a series of ballistic missiles and drones at Israel under the name Operation True Promise 3.
The United States escalated its involvement by launching direct strikes on Iran under Operation Midnight Hammer. On the night of 21–22 June 2025, seven B-2 bombers and submarine-launched missiles targeted Iran’s key nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, severely damaging underground enrichment facilities. The U.S. described the attack as a pre-emptive move to degrade Iran’s nuclear capabilities, while Iran condemned it as an act of war and vowed retaliation.
Amid this developments, a video (here, here, here and here) is going viral showing a large truck carrying a missile-shaped object on the road, with claims suggesting that Iran is transporting a powerful weapon to use in the recent Iran–Israel conflict. Let’s find out the truth behind this video.

Claim: The viral video shows Iran transporting a powerful missile for use in the recent Iran–Israel conflict.
Fact: The video actually shows a slurry hopper being transported from Kazakhstan to a natural gas plant in Uzbekistan. It has been online since at least 2018 and is unrelated to the current conflict, hence the claim is FALSE.
To verify the video, we conducted a reverse image search of keyframes, which led us to a longer version uploaded on YouTube by the channel HEAVY TRANSPORT (OY) on 13 December 2018. According to the video’s description, it shows a device known as a slurry hopper being transported from Kazakhstan to a natural gas facility in Uzbekistan- clearly indicating that the video is not recent.

Another extended version of the same video was shared in January 2022 by a YouTube user from Uzbekistan, DALNOBOI_UZB. The video’s description stated that the equipment was being delivered to the Kandym Gas Plant, a major natural gas processing facility located in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region (here, here, and here).
A close look at the viral video reveals the words “Çaba Misnak” on the vehicle pulling the trailer. Çaba & Misnak is a Turkish logistics company that specialises in transporting heavy equipment (here, here, and here).
Further research revealed that the same video had gone viral earlier in 2022 with claims linking it to the Russia–Ukraine conflict. At the time, when AFP contacted the logistics company Çaba & Misnak for clarification, the company confirmed that the equipment shown was a slurry hopper being transported to an oil refinery in Uzbekistan.
Additionally, the Turkish fact-checking organisation Teyit clarified in 2023 that the viral video shows a slurry hopper or boiler being transported from Kazakhstan to a natural gas plant in Uzbekistan. This confirms that the video is unrelated to the ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran.
To sum up, an old video of a slurry hopper being transported to Uzbekistan is falsely shared as Iran moving a powerful missile during the Israel–Iran conflict.
