Fact: On 30 September 2020, Amit Shah through video conference interacted with the beneficiaries of the electric chalks under Potter Empowerment Scheme from New Delhi. Images of the event are shared on Amit Shah’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts. PIB also reported the event. Also, Avian Sarcoma is a type of cancer that affects chickens, there is no scientific evidence to prove that the virus transmits to humans from chickens. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
Google search with the keyword ‘Amit Shah latest’ led us to a tweet posted on Amit Shah’s official twitter account on 30 September 2020 in which Amit Shah can be seen interacting with the beneficiaries of the electric chalks under the Potter Empowerment Scheme via video conference from New Delhi on the same day.
The Press Information Bureau (PIB) also reported the event on 30 September 2020. Hence, it is clear that Amit Shah is fine and is in India. We also could not find any news articles regarding Amit Shah’s medical emergency and his travel to New York.
Also, Avian Sarcoma is a type of cancer that affects chickens. There is no scientific evidence to prove that the virus transmits to humans from chickens.
