Fact: The tweet mentioned in the post is made by the actor in support of the CAA protests back in December 2019. He did not tweet this in the light of Delhi riots or the death of the IB officer as both incidents took place in February 2020. Also, the actor did not share any image along with the tweet. Hence the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.
Upon an internet search, we found the archived version of a tweet by Ali Fazal with the same text as in the post. However, the tweet did not carry any image of the dead body of the IB officer and the tweet dates back to 19 December 2019. This shows that he indeed tweeted the same text, but he did not tweet this celebrating the Delhi riots as the Delhi communal riots took place in February 2020.
However, the actor deleted the tweet later. In reply to a twitter user for the deletion of his tweet in the wake of CAA protests, Ali Fazal reasoned his tweet might be used by miscreants to mislead the vulnerable social media users.
