To learn more about the viral video, we performed a keyword search on the internet and found the same song with varied lengths on YouTube (here, here, and here). In one of these YouTube videos, which contains a shorter version of the song, it is mentioned that this song is an AI cover.
Meaning it was created using Artificial Intelligence tools. This YouTube channel, ‘Modi Music Productions,’ contains many AI cover songs by PM Narendra Modi.
Further, we ran the audio through True Media, an AI content detection tool, to verify this. True Media’s analysis found that the audio file has ‘substantial evidence of manipulation.’
This information makes it clear that PM Modi did not record the song in the viral video. Furthermore, during this research, we found that PM Modi paid tributes to Raj Kapoor during his birth centenary via a ‘X’ post.
To sum up, AI-generated audio is falsely shared as a song recorder by PM Modi to commemorate Raj Kapoor.
