Fact: This incident in the video took place on 30 October 2024 in Motihari, Bihar, when the police arrived to arrest the son of accused Shambhu Bhagat after recovering two kidnapped girls in a love affair case. As soon as the police began the raid, the boy’s family and neighbour launched an attack on them. According to the FIR, all the accused are Hindus, and there is no religious angle in the case. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.
To get more information on the incident, we searched using relevant keywords and found media reports (here, here, and here) covering the incident. According to these reports, on 30 October 2024, the police recovered two kidnapped girls in a love-related case in Motihari, Bihar, when they went to arrest the son of accused Shambhu Bhagat. During the operation, the boy’s family and neighbours attacked the police. ASI Sonukumar suffered head injuries, while Home Guard Munna Paswan was seriously injured in the attack.
