A purported letter attributed to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is being shared on social media claiming that RSS is conspiring to trap Muslim women to convert them to Hinduism. The purported letter of RSS encourages Hindu men to trap Muslim girls by providing a list of tips to gain trust, have a relationship with them and then force them to convert to Hinduism. The purported letter of RSS talks of a 15-day training programme to Hindu men on how to trap Muslim girls and says that RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat had set a target of converting one million girls to Hinduism every year. Let’s verify the claim made in the post.

Fact: RSS did not issue any such letter inciting Hindu men to trap Muslim women and convert them to Hinduism. The RSS logo on the purported letter is not the logo used by the RSS in its official press statements. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
When we searched for this video using relevant keywords on the internet, we could not find any news report about such an open letter by the RSS targetting the Muslim women. No such letter was found published on the official Twitter and Facebook handles of the RSS.

On comparing the images of these official press statements with that of the purported RSS letter shared in the post, one can easily spot that the logo used in the purported letter is not the official logo of the RSS used it is press statements.
Similar letters have been viral on the internet for a few years now. But there is no evidence of RSS issuing such letters.
To sum it up, a morphed fake letter is attributed to RSS stating that the organization is inciting Hindu men to trap Muslim women to convert to Hinduism.
