Fact: The video shared on the post is a clipped video from the inauguration ceremony of the Nirmal Integrated Collectorate complex, held on 04 June 2023. The extended version of the video shows the performance of multi-faith prayers, including Hindu, Muslim and Christian prayers, during the inauguration of the Nirmal Collectorate complex. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.
When we searched for the video using relevant keywords, we found similar visuals in a video published by the ‘T News’ channel on 04 June 2023. This news channel reported it is the visuals from the inauguration ceremony of the Nirmal Integrated Collectorate complex on 04 June 2023.
As part of the inauguration of the Nirmal Integrated Collectorate complex, the Telangana government performed multi-faith prayers, including Hindu, Muslim, and Christian prayers. From 1:24:55 minutes of the video, one could see KCR and Nirmal Collector Varun Reddy offering Hindu prayers as part of the inauguration proceedings. Following the pooja, Muslim clerics offered Islamic prayers and later, a pastor offered Christian prayers during the inauguration ceremony. The Nirmal Integrated Collectorate was inaugurated involving Hindu, Muslim, and Christian prayers.
