Fact: This video shows a 3D projection mapping experience on the Galatta tower in Istanbul. This 3D projection mapping experience was designed for the promotion of the Istanbul Youth Festival 2018. This video has nothing to do with the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of the screenshots in the video, similar visuals were found in the video posted in ‘Behance’ social media service website. In the website, this video is described as the 3D projection mapping experience on the Galata Tower for the promotion of Istanbul Youth festival. Sharing similar visuals, ‘Live Design’ website published an article about this tower of illusion. It is reported as ‘IGF-Galata Tower Projection Mapping Experience’, designed by the Cream studio.
When we searched for more sources using these keywords, we found similar visuals in an article published in Cream Studio website. It is reported as the 3D projection mapping experience on one of the recognised landmarks and the oldest towers in Istanbul, Galata tower. This 3D projection mapping experience was designed for the promotion of the Istanbul Youth Festival 2018.
İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi (Istanbul Metro Politan Municipal Executive committee) published an article about Galata Tower video mapping experience on ‘26 April 2018’. IBB shared the visuals of this event on their official Twitter handle on ‘02 May 2018’.
On searching for the images of Galata tower on Google maps, we found that it looks similar to the tower in the posted video. Also, no such tower was found inside Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
