Fact: The visuals of people dancing in the posted video were not shot in Turkey. Both the clips were posted by “Çılgın Dondurmacı” (the person in the video) on his Instagram account. The dancing video is from ZouZou Restaurant in Dubai (UAE). The bottom video was posted by “Çılgın Dondurmacı” recently after the earthquake. Hence the claim that the dancing video was shot in Turkey is FALSE.
On seeing the video, one can observe that there is a restaurant board – “ZouZou” in the dancing clip. So, when we searched with some keywords, we found a similar video on the official social media handle of “ZouZou Restaurant”. A person with the name – “Çılgın Dondurmacı” is tagged in that post.
The exact dancing video clip can be found to be posted on his Instagram account on 18 December 2022. Also, the “ZouZou Restaurant” has posted that “Çılgın Dondurmacı” will be at ZouZou Restaurant in JBR Dubai from 16 to 18 December 2022. The hotel location also matches the visuals in the video clip. In his YouTube video, he clearly mentioned that it is from Dubai. So, the dancing video was not shot in Turkey, it is from ZouZou Restaurant in Dubai (UAE).
The bottom video in the viral post was posted by “Çılgın Dondurmacı” recently after the earthquake. The locations in the before and after videos are not the same. In a recent live video on his Facebook account, “Çılgın Dondurmacı” can be seen showing his new shop. More details about him can be found on his website.
