In the wake of the May 2025 Indo-Pak conflict, rumours started spreading on social media that India had hit Pakistan’s Nuclear facility located in Kirana Hills (here and here). On 12 May 2025, Indian Air Marshal A.K. Bharti said in a press conference that India did not hit Kirana Hills.
In this context, a video (here, here, and here) purportedly showing the visuals of destruction caused by India’s BrahMos missiles in Pakistan, which allegedly fell right next to Pakistan’s NCA HQ, is being shared widely. It is claimed that Nuclear radiation is spreading in Pakistan as a result of this hit. We will fact-check this claim through this article.

Claim: This video shows the destruction that took place in Pakistan after India’s attack on a Nuclear facility during Operation Sindoor.
Fact: This video has nothing to do with Pakistan. These visuals show the destruction that occurred in Yemen in May 2025 during Israeli airstrikes. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
Firstly, we searched the internet using the appropriate keywords to find out the truth behind this claim. This search did not yield any credible news reports claiming that the viral video shows an Indian attack on a Nuclear facility in Pakistan.
Further, we performed a reverse image search using some of the keyframes in the viral video to find out more about the visuals seen in the viral video. Through this search, we found that all of these video clips are of destruction that occurred during Israeli airstrikes in Yemen on 6 May 2025 (here, here, here, and here).

During this search, we found several news reports with visuals from the viral video (here, here, here, and here). As per these reports, on 6 May 2025, Israel carried out several airstrikes on the airport in the Yemeni capital of Sanaa, which is under the control of the Houthis, and a few other locations. The viral video contains many visuals showing the destruction caused by these attacks.

Media outlets such as the Associated Press, Al-Jazeera, Viory, The Straits Times, as well as Yemeni media outlets such as Yemen Today, Al Hadath, and Al Masirah TV, have also posted these videos (here, here, and here).

To sum up, video clips of an Israeli attack in Yemen are falsely shared as visuals of radiation leak from a Nuclear facility in Pakistan.
