Claim: Photo Showing Rahul Gandhi at Alex Soros and Huma Abedin’s Wedding.

Fact: This viral photo is AI-generated. It contains a ‘Grok’ watermark, indicating that it was created using Grok AI. Multiple AI detection tools have also confirmed that the photo is AI-generated. While we cannot independently confirm if Rahul Gandhi attended this wedding, based on the available evidence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.

If we look closely at this viral photo, we can clearly observe several anomalies. For instance, the faces of Rahul Gandhi, Alexander Soros, and Huma Abedin appear unrealistic. The bride, Huma Abedin, has a distorted hand, while Alex Soros’s fingers appear to merge into Gandhi’s outfit. Such inconsistencies are common in images generated using Artificial Intelligence (AI) (here, here). Additionally, the watermark “Grok” is visible in the bottom right corner of the image. These indicators strongly suggest that the photo may have been generated using AI.

To further verify whether the viral image was AI-generated, we analysed it using multiple AI content detection tools. When tested with Hive, the tool flagged the image with a 99.9% likelihood of being AI-generated. Sightengine results indicated a 99% probability of being AI-generated. Other tools, such as WasitAI and AI or Not, also confirmed that the photo was AI-generated (here, here). Based on all these findings, it is evident that the viral photo is AI-generated.

During our investigation, we did not find any credible news reports stating that Rahul Gandhi attended the wedding of George Soros’s son. While we cannot independently verify whether Rahul Gandhi attended this wedding, based on the available evidence, we can confirm that the photo circulating on social media was created with the help of artificial intelligence.

To sum it up, this viral photo claiming to show Rahul Gandhi at Alex Soros’s wedding is AI-generated.
