Fact: Woman in the video is Congress party leader Prem Chand Guddu’s daughter Rashmi Borasi, not the Bihar polling officer. In the video, Rashmi Borasi accused the BJP of counting mismanagement in Madhya Pradesh by-polls. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
On reverse image search of screenshots in the video, similar visuals were found in a video shared by Madhya Pradesh Congress official Twitter handle. In the tweet, it is mentioned as the situation during the by-poll in Sanwar, Madhya Pradesh. It is mentioned in the tweet that woman in the video is accusing the BJP of counting mismanagement and rigging in Madhya Pradesh by-polls.
On observing the video carefully, we could see the woman introducing herself as Rashmi Borasi. When we searched for more information using all these keywords, we found an article published by ‘ANI’ news website on halting by-poll elections counting at Sanwar in Indore district. In the article, it is mentioned that the by-poll counting at Sanwar was halted for an hour after Congress party supporters alleged mismanagement in the conduct of elections. It is mentioned that the Congress party leader Prem Chand Guddu’s daughter Rashmi Borasi accused the BJP of mismanagement & unfair conduct.
Rashmi Borasi alleges that all officials including the police and district collector were working as agents of the BJP.
