A post is being shared widely with a claim that the Government has designed a five-phase road map to ease COVID-19 restrictions in the country. As per this message, each of those five phases will have a 3-week review process and the first phase would commence on 18 May 2020. But, FACTLY has found that the road map in the message was issued by the Government of Ireland, not by the Government of India. On 01 May 2020, the Ireland Government’s Department of the Taoiseach had published a road map to ease COVID-19 restrictions and reopen the country’s economy and society. Also, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) – India has clarified that this roadmap was not issued by the Indian government.
