When searched on YouTube with the phrase “Church father beaten in Telugu states”, a news story on this incident by Telugu News channel Tv9 was found. As per the story, in a church in Bhadradri Kothagudem of Telangana, a newly elected priest Anand Rao refused to reinstate Shanta Kumar into their Church Committee, and being angered by this, he attacked the priest causing him severe injuries to the head.
