A post with some photos and videos of an animal is being shared widely on social media with a claim that they show a black panther which was spotted in Golkonda (Hyderabad). FACTLY has found that the animal shown in the post is not a black panther. In reply to a tweet, the Hyderabad City Police clarified that it is a civet cat. In the tweet, they have shared the video of the animal after it has been caught and said that it has been handed over to zoo park for safe custody.
