Claim: Recent video of a Hindu man threatening to kill Muslims.
Fact: This is an old video from Uttar Pradesh, and it dates back to March 2020. The man seen in the video was arrested for his inflammatory remarks against a particular community. Several news agencies have reported his arrest back then. Hence the claim made in the post is MISLEADING.
This video is at least a couple of years old and has nothing to do with the recent controversy. Reverse image search of the screen shots of the viral video yielded few social media posts which shared the same video back in 2020.
Further Google search with relevant keywords yielded a 2020 news report that reported the arrest of the same man seen in the viral video.
As per this news report, police arrested the man for inflammatory remarks against a particular community after the video went viral on social media. Further, the man was identified as Yogendra Singh Chauhan, a resident of Thakurganj Misri Bagia in Uttar Pradesh.
