Fact: The person crying in the video is not the Thailand Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul. This video shows a Chinese man crying out of fear while taking the first injection of his life. This video exists on the internet since 2018. It has nothing to do with the Thailand Health Minister and the COVID-19 vaccine. Hence, the claim made in the post is FALSE.
By comparing the photos of the Thailand Health Minister with the person crying in the video, it can be confirmed that the man crying in the video is not the Thailand Health Minister, Anutin Charnvirakul.
On reverse image search of the screenshots shared in the video, similar visuals were found in a YouTube video posted by Radio Jamba Kenya channel on 29 January 2018. It is mentioned as a hilarious video of a Chinese man crying after refusing an injection. When we searched for other sources using these keywords, we found a similar video posted on ‘South China Morning Post’ YouTube channel on 04 February 2018. ‘South China Morning Post’ published this video on YouTube with the title ‘Chinese man scared of his first-ever injection’.
