Fact: The video shared in the post shows an old incident that took place in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This video shows a pastor performing an exorcism on a young girl. This video has nothing to do with the Delhi Public School in Rajbagh. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
In the post, the description of the video itself is confusing. It says “Valsad’s DPS School” but continues to say “DPS School Rajbagh Teacher”. Rajbagh is in Jammu and Kashmir whereas Valsad is in Gujarat. Also, the same video was attributed to the RM VM School on social media in 2018.
On reverse image search of the screenshots in the video, a video with similar visuals is found published on the ‘HJ News’ YouTube channel on 20 February 2018. This video reported it as visuals of a pastor performing an exorcism on a minor girl in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. These articles reported that Dinesh Sahu, a pastor in Santoshi Nagar village had brutally assaulted a minor girl in the name of exorcism. According to the article, the minor victim in the video was a classmate of Dinesh Sahu’s daughter. The young girl’s family had brought her to Dinesh Sahu, believing she was possessed by a demon. In the name of exorcism, Dinesh Sahu performed this offensive act of brutally thrashing her, dragging her hair violently, and pressing her private parts with his feet. Nagari Police arrested the accused immediately after this video went viral on social media in 2018.
