A few images are being shared on social media claiming that houses of Dalit Hindus were set on fire in West Bengal. But, FACTLY has found that the images do not belong to any incident in West Bengal. They are related to the attacks on the houses of Hindus in the Punjab region of Pakistan. The images are being shared now in the wake of recent violence in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. In Telinipara region of the district, violence erupted between the two communities over a dispute regarding the usage of a public toilet during the lockdown.
