[Infographic] How many Animals are killed in Train Accidents?

The Ministry of Railways has provided data on the number of animal deaths in train accidents. More than 35000 animals died in train accidents in the last three and a half years.

A question was raised in the Lok Sabha to the Ministry of Railways regarding the number of animals that were killed annually in train accidents across the country.

In response, the Minister of Railways, Piyush Goyal provided the following numbers on 3rd July 2019. A total of 35,732 Animals & 65 Elephants have been killed from January 2016 to June 2019. Here is a slideshow of infographics.
