This is a series of fact-check stories based on the claims made by the Government on the ‘48 Months of Transforming India’.

The fact-check stories go beyond rating the claims and provide the context for a particular scheme etc.  We chose this theme in the context of the upcoming 2019 elections to the 17th Lok Sabha. We believe that these fact-check stories will enable the following.

• People being better informed with proper sources about claims/counter claims regarding Government of India performance especially
• Improve the quality of public discourse about the performance of the government
