A video (here, here and here) going viral on social media shows a tiger biting a woman lying on the ground. It is being shared as a real incident. Let’s find out the truth behind this video.

Claim: The viral video shows a real incident of a tiger attacking a woman.
Fact: The video is AI-generated and was posted by Instagram and YouTube accounts known for sharing AI-created animal content. AI detection tools also confirmed that it is artificially generated and not a real incident. Hence, the claim is FALSE.
Upon closely watching the video, we noticed that multiple versions were shared, and a watermark on one of them mentioned the Instagram handle “powerwildanimals.” We accessed the account and found that the video was uploaded on 17 June 2025.

While checking the “powerwildanimal” Instagram handle, we found that the page is known for uploading AI-generated animal videos. The same video was also shared by a YouTube channel called “Chapuluk Official,” which regularly posts AI-generated animal content. Additionally, the video was uploaded with hashtags like “#AI,” further indicating that it is artificially created (here and here).

Google’s ‘SynthID’ tool, which detects content generated by its AI models, also confirmed that the video was AI-generated.

Additionally, we analysed the clip using the Cantilux AI detection tool, which flagged it with a 73% probability of being AI-generated, indicating a strong likelihood that the visuals were artificially created.

To sum up, an AI-generated video of a tiger attacking a woman is falsely shared as a real incident.
