Fact: This is an AI-generated image. No news reports validate the claim that Jharkhand police caught a wheat truck transporting huge sums of money and gold coins. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
To check the veracity of the viral claim, we first performed a keyword search looking for news reports about any wheat truck seized by the Jharkhand police during the ongoing 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The search did not yield any results. If such a truck with a huge amount of cash and gold coins was caught by the police, it would have gained significant attention from the media but we found none.
Suspecting that the viral photo could be an image generated by Artificial Intelligence -AI, we carried out searches to know its authenticity by running through AI content detection tools like ‘Hive’ and ‘True Media.’ We found that the viral photo is actually an AI-generated image.
To sum up, this photo of a wheat truck full of gold coins and cash captured by the Jharkhand police is an AI-generated image.
