According to these reports, the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board held a recruitment exam on 13 July 2025, in Bilaspur, for 113 vacancies of Deputy Engineer (Civil and Electrical/Mechanical) in the Public Works Department. During the exam at the Government Ramdulare Boys Higher Secondary School in Sarkanda, a high-tech cheating case was uncovered. Police apprehended two sisters, Anusurya and Anuradha, in connection with the incident. As per officials, the candidate inside the exam hall used a hidden camera concealed in her undergarments to transmit images of the question paper to her sister outside, who then relayed answers via a walkie-talkie. Based on a complaint by the exam centre’s supervisor, P. Mandal, a formal case was filed in the Sarkanda police, Bilaspur, under relevant sections of the BNS, IT Act, and Chhattisgarh Examination Act.

We then contacted the Sarkanda police for further clarification. He also confirmed that the individuals involved, sisters named Anusurya and Anuradha, are Hindu, not Muslim.
