A reverse image search of keyframes from the viral video led us to an NDTV news report (archive) featuring the viral video published on 13 November 2023. According to the report, the incident occurred during a screening of Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’ at Mohan Cinema in Malegaon, Maharashtra. During the 21:30 show on 12 November 2023, fireworks set off near the seating area, causing a stampede-like situation. The report also mentioned that the police are investigating the incident.
