In this article, let us fact-check the claim made in the post.

Claim: Video shows BJP leaders being beaten by the public in Bihar in August 2025.
Fact: This viral video has no connection to Bihar. It dates back to February 2022 and shows a clash between Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), workers and BJP workers in Jangaon, Telangana. Hence the claim made in the post is FALSE.
To verify more details about the viral video, we conducted a Google reverse image search using keyframes from the clip. This search led us to a news report published by ‘The Times of India’ titled ‘BJP, TRS workers clash violently during anti-Modi protest in Telangana’ on 10 February 2022, which featured a video showing visuals similar to those in the viral clip. According to this report, the viral video shows a clash between BJP and BRS workers that took place during anti-Modi protests in February 2022 in Jangaon, Telangana. The report further stated that the then-ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), now known as Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), had organised protests across the state following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments on Telangana state formation in the Rajya Sabha.

By comparing keyframes from the viral video with visuals available in the ‘Times of India’ video report, it is clear that both are from the same incident.

Additionally, we geolocated the place seen in the viral video using Google Maps and found that it was filmed near the Bus Station Circle in Jangaon, Telangana.
