A video is being shared widely on social media with a claim that it shows Tamil Nadu DMK party Leader Selva Kumar kicking a lady doctor on duty. But, FACTLY has found that the video is related to an incident in 2018 and the lady being kicked in the video is not a doctor. According to news reports, the incident happened at a salon in Perambalur (TN) in 2018. The woman in the video is the owner of the salon and allegedly had a monetary dispute with Selvakumar. As the video went viral in 2018, Selvakumar was suspended from the DMK party and was arrested by the Police.
