Fact: This video is a digital creation. In 2013, a fireworks simulation was created by a YouTube user named ‘mediabyjj‘ and uploaded on YouTube, which the viral post falsely claims is from Kerala. Hence, the claim made in the pot is False.
We performed a reverse image search on a few keyframes to learn more about the viral video. This search led us to a YouTube video uploaded in 2013 on a channel named ‘mediabyjj, which is a clearer version of the viral video.
It is titled ‘New Years 2013 – Synchronized Epic Music (Heart of Courage) – FWSim Fireworks Display – HD‘. According to the video description, it is a digital simulation created using the software FWSim. A simple search on Google about FWSim revealed that it is a fireworks simulation software.
To sum up, a 2013 video of a fireworks simulation is peddled as visuals of fireworks displayed in Kerala.
