A video (here, here, and here) showing Prime Minister Modi in a roadshow is being shared on social media with the claim that it captures his recent visit to Pokhara, Nepal. We fact-check this claim through this article.

Claim: Visuals of PM Modi’s recent visit to Nepal’s Pokhara.
Fact: This video shows PM Modi’s roadshow held in Patna, Bihar, in May 2025. He did not visit Nepal recently. Hence, the claim made in the post is False.
To check the veracity of the claim, we ran a keyword search on the internet to find reports about any recent visit of PM Modi to Nepal’s Pokhara. However, we did not find any media reports on the same, and neither did PM Modi nor the official government sources mention this alleged meeting/visit.
During this search, we found (here, here, and here) that PM Modi spoke to the Interim Prime Minister of Nepal, Sushila Karki, over a phone call on 18 September 2025. PM Modi congratulated her on her appointment and extended his warm wishes on the occasion of the National Day (Constitution Day) of Nepal.
Further, to know more about the video, we ran a reverse image search using a few key frames from the video. This search led us to a few YouTube posts (here and here) from May 2025 that contained the same video. These posts described this event as a roadshow of PM Modi held in Patna, Bihar.

Additionally, we looked closely at a signboard that appears at the beginning of the viral video. It contains the words ‘..laya No.2 Bailey Road.’ We took this as a hint and looked it up on the internet, and found that it is the signboard of Kendriya Vidyalaya School located at No.2 Bailey Road, Patna, Bihar.

Furthermore, we searched the internet with relevant keywords and found media reports (here, here, and here) on PM Modi’s trip to Bihar in May 2025.
As per these reports, PM Modi held a Roadshow in Patna, Bihar, on 29 May 2025 during his visit to the state to inaugurate a terminal building of the Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport in Patna. The road show event was live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of Prime Minister Modi on 29 May 2025. Visuals from this road show match the visuals seen in the viral video.
To sum up, an old video of PM Modi’s roadshow in Patna is being falsely shared as showing his recent visit to Nepal.
