In the wake of Operation Sindoor and the subsequent attacks that followed it in India and Pakistan, multiple videos (here, here, and here) have appeared online claiming to show various attacks by Pakistan on India. We will fact-check these videos through this article.

Claim: These videos show various attacks carried out by Pakistan in India during the May 2025 India-Pakistan conflict
Fact: These videos are old and unrelated to Operation Sindoor. One of them shows visuals of a simulation video game. The one claimed to be an attack on the New Delhi airport is actually an old gas station explosion video from Yemen, which happend in August 2024. Another video is a October 2024 video of a missile attack in Tel Aviv, Isralel. Hence, the claim made in the post is Misleading.
Claim 1:
This video (here and here) purportedly shows a real attack carried out by the Pakistani Air Force in India. It was shared with the hashtag that reads ‘#operationbunyanulmarsoos.’
We found that the same video existed on the internet even before Operation Sindoor was launched on 7 May 2025. It was uploaded on 30 April 2025 on YouTube by a user named ‘Masti Mania’
This video was also posted on YouTube on 8 May 2025 by a user named ‘INFO DOT DK’, saying the visuals are from an army simulation game. This page contains many such video clips from army simulation video games.
The Government of India issued a clarification on this video via their official Fact-Checking unit, PIB Fact Check, on 10 May 2025. Posting about this video on ‘X’, they said that it is a virtual combat gaming video which was falsely linked to the India-Pakistan conflict. During the May 2025 conflict between India and Pakistan, several such clips from simulation video games were shared as real visuals from the conflict. Claim 2:
This video is shared with a claim that it shows Pakistan’s big missile attack on New Delhi Airport.
We found that it shows a huge explosion that occurred in August 2024 in a Gas Station warehouse in Aden, Yemen. Various media reports on this incident from August 2025 can be found here, here, here, and here.
On 10 May 2025, PIB Fact Check clarified the same via a post on X. They stated that this video is from August 2024 and has no connection to the May 2025 India-Pakistan conflict.
Claim 3:
This video allegedly shows an attack by Pakistan on India.
This video shows a missile attack by Iran on Tel Aviv, Israel, in October 2024. The viral video is part of a series of video clips related to this attack posted by ‘Al Jazeera English’ and ‘Al Jazeera Balkans’ on 2 October 2024 on X and 1 October 2024 on YouTube, respectively. This evidence makes it clear that this video is not related to the May 2025 conflict between India and Pakistan.
To sum up, these videos claiming to show Pakistan’s attack on India during Operation Sindoor are either old clips from unrelated incidents or sourced from simulation video games.
