Access to drinking water might be trivial for many of us. We also tend to ignore the travails of many Indians who travel long distances to get drinking water. Government data reveals that only one in every 3 Rural Indians has access to drinking water within the premises while 22% of them have to travel more than half a kilometer to get drinking water.
