The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), commonly known as the Paramilitary forces, guard the six different international borders. The Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) and Assam Rifles (AR) are involved the border guarding duties.
