Understanding India’s Climate Action Plan (INDC)

1^st October was the deadline for submitting the Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) by various countries in the run up to the COP21 in Paris this December. India has submitted its INDCs at the last minute. While it has not committed to reduction of Green House Gas emissions, it has listed a host of other steps to mitigate the challenge of Climate Change.
